In March 2025 we were invited to capture the amazing wedding of Nia and Dave in Newcastle Emlyn.
Gwesty’r Emlyn is a fantastic wedding venue and we were blessed with great weather – a welcome departure from nearly 6 solid months of gloomy conditions here in Wales.

Bridal Prep at Roseberry House
The morning kicked off at Roseberry House where Nia and her bridal party prepared for the big day in the expert hands of Mared Davies Beauty.

The main event was a beautiful and intimate occasion at Gwesty’r Emlyn Hotel’s ceremony room.

We slipped away from the party for half an hour to grab some photographs at Cenarth Falls, a stunning nearby beauty spot and one of our top recommendations for photography locations near Newcastle Emlyn.
Speeches & Wedding Reception
After some speeches that had guests rolling with laughter, it was time to party, with DJs Jagger and Woody. (Yes, that Jagger and Woody from Heart Radio!)
Spectacular Evening Wedding Portraits
Nia and Dave had textbook weather conditions and with a relatively early sunset in March we went outside for some very special evening portraits. The sunset provided a beautiful backdrop while later on, Mathew went full photography nerd and did some light painting. Finally, the couple celebrated with guests holding sparklers.
